2018 Action Agenda Priority Areas of Implementation
Near Term Actions (NTAs) in the 2018-2022 Action Agenda are assigned to a Focus Area, Regional Priority, and Regional Priority approach (NTAs were not solicited for the Orca, Marine Water Quality, or Summer-Stream Flow focus areas). NTA proposals were evaluated and ranked based on their ability to advance one or more Regional Priorities. The full list of NTAs includes their ranking (Tier). While many projects have multiple benefits and fit under multiple Regional Priority approaches, the below table assigns each project to only one Regional Priority approach.
The Puget Sound Partnership (Partnership) and partners collaboratively defined the Focus Areas, Regional Priorities, and Regional Priority approaches based on content and strategies identified in Implementation Strategies, Local Integrating Organization ecosystem recovery plans, and tribal priorities. The Focus Areas address Vital Signs representing five of the six Puget Sound Recovery Goals (identified by color below) and also a funding priority. The Regional Priorities and Regional Priority approaches describe the specific approaches, desired outcomes, and action ideas that are a priority for the next 4 years.
